The double room was well-designed, had air conditioner, an iron, and coffee and tea making equipment. The location was tranquil and beautiful, the staff were affable.

the hotel was little and lovely with nice location near to the rekawa beach, which is very natural "crude " beach, and a beautiful garden.

This place is located in a secluded area, within walking distance of Rock Pool, featuring lovely building and rooms with beautiful decoration.

The staff here were really friendly and made us feel right at home from the start. the location is super peaceful and we could easily walk to wherever we needed to go. Plus, it's just a 5-minute stroll to Rekawa Beach, which was awesome! 🏖️

Conveniently located, you can easily walk everywhere around here. the breakfast spread is fantastic with a variety of delicious food options to choose from! 🍳

We definitely got great value for our money at Turtle Watch Cabana. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with a spacious bathroom. The location was amazing, just a short walk away from the beach and surrounded by a peaceful garden. The staff treated us with kindness and care, with Asanka going above and beyond to give us a unique experience of turtle watching.

Food for breakfast could have been more varied.

turtle watch cabana bed & breakfast is a beautiful place - with clean rooms and a great location close to the beach. the owners - aksana and his wife - provide a warm and authentic sri lankan experience. one of the highlights is the opportunity to see turtles laying eggs on the beach - guided by aksana who works for the turtle protection project.

The rooms at Turtle Watch Cabana are cozy and comfortable, with a lovely seating area where we could relax and unwind. The private bathrooms were clean and had all the necessary toiletries. We loved that our double room even had a washing machine, making it so convenient for our family. The free WiFi was a nice bonus, keeping us connected throughout our stay. the rooms had a homely feel with a nice desk to work on.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the bed. It was a bit too firm for my liking.

A charming place with delightful garden views. Loved waking up to the sound of birds. Nearby turtle project meant I had cute little flippers visiting me. Breakfast a la carte was a perfect start to the day.

Couldn't find a single thing I didn't like, but I suppose I could complain about there being too much tranquility and relaxation. How dare they!

I had the most very nice experience staying at a charming bed and breakfast in a peaceful and beautiful setting. The hospitality was really good, and I was lucky enough to have a host who took me to see the turtles. The coconut roti for dinner was delicious, and the included breakfast was a treat. Although it was a bit of a distance from the main area, the experience of seeing the turtles made up for it. The beach was just a short walk away and practically empty, giving me a sense of solitude. The guesthouse also offered bike rental and had great knowledge about turtle watching in the area. If I had to mention any drawbacks, the road to the beach was a bit dirty, and it did get a little airless in the cabanas, but these were minor issues. I highly recommend this place for those seeking a peaceful and authentic experience.

We had the most very nice experience at this hidden gem! The cabanas were beautifully designed and impeccably clean. The owners took us on a special turtle watching excursion and it was amazing. The food they prepared for us was excellent, showcasing local ingredients and flavors. The secluded beach was like paradise, with crystal clear waters and hardly any other people. It was the perfect natural retreat. Despite a couple of minor language barriers and issues with communication, we felt welcomed and well looked after. I highly recommend this fantastic hotel for an lovely stay.
